Testimonial from Md. Elahi Baksh Sarker about PSK
(the following text is a true reflection of Sir's hand-written script without alterations) Md. Aslam Hossain Mridha took a valiant step to start a teaching centre alone with only five students at Bandaikhara, an ancient historical village in upazila Atrai district Naogaon, Bangladesh. Gradually his endeavour was crowned with success when a good number of young learners began to throng into his institution from different villages, kissing Bandai Khara. Soon the establishment turned into a big and full-fledged centre of education with the name "Protiddhoni Sikkha Kendro" directed by Md. Aslam Hossain Mridha. Now practical teaching is given here in modern scientific method with the help of computer, microscope and other recent inventions.
Director of the institution is an invincible personality. He is not only enthusiastic but also persevering to encourage the young learners of his institution to acquire knowledge with joy and eagerness. He knows no defeat and submission to any adverse situation. Rather he overcame all impediments on the way of its development. Some bright characteristics of this teaching centre are attractive and worth mentioning here. At the very out set of teaching the young learners are taught to practise writing a good hand. Above all special importance is imposed on teaching English from the beginning. Displaying maps, coins, stamps and different documentary papers of home and broad young learners are given idea and knowledge of geography, history and traditions. Moreover, every year study tours are arranged for enjoyment and gaining out-knowledge about important historical places.
Expecting all-round prosperity and bright future of this "Protiddhoni Sikkha Kendro".
